The Google Marketing Platform (GMP) Portal is the central administrative console for GMP products. Though simplistic in experience, it is a very nuanced and capable place that Google has designed to be to be a self service portal to enable customers and partners to move at speed for administrative functions related to their GMP software. Tasks including:

  • User Rights Administration

  • Billing

  • Product linking

  • Data Integrations

It is imperative for us to have sufficient administrative rights in order to meet our service and support obligations. Not having appropriate rights, can lead to delays in times of need. Our definition of a correctly delegated roster of administrators is as follows:

  1. More than 1 license side Org Admin at minimum.
  2. An Org Admin contact from the licensees Services Partner of Record.

  3. admin@datastack.help provided Org Admin rights.

Their are 3 levels of administrative rights that can be provisioned to key members of your team.

Org Admin - The highest level of Administrative rights, these users can manage all of your organizations product accounts, track usage, view your order, and view billing information.  Org Admin is the highest level of administrative privilege, and is inclusive of both User and Billing Admin rights.

User Admin - Manage all of your organization's product accounts, and manage the policies that govern who has access to the organization.

Billing Admin - Can access order and billing information.
